Product description
The Silicone, PVC and glass fibre heating cables are designed to be extremely flexible and suitable for the most different applications.
These cables are made by wrapping the resistive wire on a core made of material resistant to high temperatures, insulating the assembly by silicone, PVC and glass fibre.
The wire can be protected by an additional jumper consisting of interlaced wires in (tinned) copper AISI 304 and glass fibre; this is done to increase sturdiness, making it suitable for high risk environments.
The electric resistors with heating wire boast flexible components adapting optimally to the surfaces to be heated, with which they come into direct contact and it grants excellent insulation values, even in immersion operation or anyhow in high relative humidity environment.
In addition, they allow to dose and differentiate the heat according to specific needs, being able to calibrate different specific
powers.
Technical characteristics
The heating cables are supplied in reel or alternatively, they can be cut in sections, according to the client’s specific needs.
Resistance values obtainable: Max. 20,000 ohm/m – Min. 10 ohm/m
Main claddings used: Silicone rubber, glass fibre, Silicone + glass fibre
By protecting the heating cable by a jumper/metallic plate and a sheath, it is also possible to prevent possible damages to the insulator.

- SPATIAL: Telecommunications antennas , civil and military aircrafts deicer.
- AUTOMOTIVE: Rear-view mirrors for cars and lorries, window antifrosting devices, heating seats.
- AGRICULTURE: Heating for greenhouses, incubators, buds incubators, irrigation pipes deicer.

OTHER USES:
Antifrosting heating cable: an alternative but effective use of the heating cables is to prevent the condensation formation inside freezers and industrial and non-industrial refrigeration devices such as cold rooms, cold stands, refrigerated display cases, etc…
